Challenge Island STEAM Classes
Challenge Island is an award-winning STEAM enrichment program where smart and curious kids work together in “STEAM Teams” to solve fun, hands-on “challenges” which teach them about STEAM fundamentals and cross curricular topics, plus important success skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and much more. Each of our classes focus on a positive atmosphere packed with activities and learning, with the goal of encouraging children to be more confident and excited about their skills in STEAM and working together.
HallowSTEAM Kids Night Out
$40 residents, $50 non-residents
Grades K-5
Join us for a fun kids’ night out to celebrate the spooky season, where we’ll be working in small teams to create lifesize haunted houses, build and launch ghosts using our own catapult designs, and mix up some green ghost slime! This workshop is a fun and educational night out for kids and their friends, while also being a well-deserved break for parents – we hope you can join us!

Kids Night Out: Lucky Turkey Wild Ride!

For this fun kids’ night to celebrate giving thanks, we will be working in small teams to build Thanksgiving-themed labyrinths, design and run a roller-coaster- style turkey ride, and mix up a special batch of our chocolate pie slime! Winter Holiday STEAM Kids Night Out: Penguin Winter Wonderland!

For this penguin-themed evening of fun engineering challenges, we’ll be working in small teams to design and race penguin sleds, create and play a Rube-Goldberg-inspired penguin popping game, and mix up a batch of our new Penguin Iceberg Slime!
