Are you looking for a FUN and DIFFERENT way to get out and socialize with friends? Are you ready to make some new friends and even interact with some old friends in the community? Are you tired of having the same old date night routines and ready for something NEW? How about joining us for a very modern, upbeat, and also a very different night out with the community at a Social Square Dance? Bring your friends and family and have an awesome enjoyable evening with us and try something different. Participants don’t need ANY dance experience to enjoy an evening like this!

Line Dancing

Cost: $60 resident, $70 nonresidents
Ages 13 and up (minors must be registered with a participating parent/adult)

Combining various types of music with step-by-step instruction, line dancing is a great way to socialize while being active! You will learn line dances that are being done at clubs, weddings, and country bars. No experience needed—or even workout clothes! Feel free to attend in jeans, shorts, boots, or tennis shoes (no sandals or flip/flops for safety). Join us for what will become your favorite night of the week! Exercise has never been this much fun. Dust off those boots and come out to dance!

Wedding Dance Made Easy: One Evening Workshop

$48 per couple/residents, $58 per couple/non-residents

Ages 18+

Let’s turn that High School hug-and-sway into a fabulous first dance! Whether you’re the bride and groom, the parents of that special couple or a guest at the wedding, this one evening crash-course will prepare you for a magical evening on the reception dance floor. Learn to dip, twirl and dance an easy-to-follow combination of beautiful moves, while creating a picture-perfect moment to cherish forever. Wedding shoes or smooth soled shoes are preferred.

Halloween “Thriller” Line Dance Class For Adults

$10 residents, $20 non-residents

Ages 18+

Ready for a spooktacular evening on the dance floor? Join us to learn a simple line dance inspired by the hit song “Thriller.” We will start with a fun lesson to learn the moves, followed by dancing the easy-to-learn choreography to music. No experience needed. Halloween colored clothing is encouraged (black/gray/orange/purple) but not required.

Prepare to dance like you’ve always wanted to. Learn an elegant Ballroom dance, heat up the floor with stylish Latin moves, and take your partner for a spin with energetic Swing Dancing. This casual class is designed with the absolute beginner in mind and is taught at a pace you’ll feel comfortable and confident with. Break out your favorite smooth sole shoes and join us for a fun and friendly evening on the social dance floor!

(West Coast Swing)

Ages 18+

Get ready to connect with your partner and get into your groove with one of the most casual, versatile and popular styles of swing dancing. You’ll learn smooth moves that can be danced to a wide variety of music, from pop and country – to R&B and hip hop. Each class will start with simple steps for beginners, then gradually progress, providing the perfect dance scene for beginners and beyond. Bring a friend or two, dress comfortably with your favorite smooth sole shoes, and join us for a night of fun on the dance floor!
