Challenge Island STEAM Classes

Challenge Island is an award-winning STEAM enrichment program where smart and curious kids work together in “STEAM Teams” to solve fun, hands-on “challenges” which teach them about STEAM fundamentals and cross curricular topics, plus important success skills like creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and much more. Each of our classes focus on a positive atmosphere packed with activities and learning, with the goal of encouraging children to be more confident and excited about their skills in STEAM and working together.

STEAMing Through the Holidays Kids Night Out

$40 residents, $50 non-residents

Grades K-5

In this special winter holiday-themed evening session, we’ll design & build our own custom toys worthy of Santa’s Workshop, create a working roller track to get Santa to all the continents in one night, and mix up a batch of candy cane slime! Join us for this fun night out for kids, which also provides a well-deserved break for parents!

Cupid Celebration! Kids Night Out

In this special Valentine-themed evening session, we’ll be creating & playing a Cupid-style arcade game, mixing up our special pink drink slime recipe to take home, learning the Cupid Shuffle and more! Join us for the fun and educational evening out with friends, while parents get a well-deserved break at the same time!

Gotta Catch that Leprechaun! Kids Night Out

$40 residents, $50 non residents

In this special March workshop just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, come join us as we create and build leprechaun traps, lanterns to search for leprechauns in those dark corners at home, and our unique Green Leprechaun Snow Slime! Join us for the fun and educational evening out with friends, while parents get a well-deserved break at the same time!

Water World! Kids Night Out

In celebration of Earth Day and the watery world around us, we’ll design and build working water turbines, create an underwater cave rescue (based on a true story), and mix up a special batch of our ocean-themed slime to take home! Join us for the fun and educational evening out with friends, while the parents get a well-deserved break at the same time!
