Morning Yoga

Start your day with a yoga flow tying your breath to movement with traditional yoga postures. The focus will be on stretching and strengthening through a creative series of postures. Yoga reduces stress, creates flexibility, and improves mental clarity.

Chair Yoga

This practice is performed sitting in a chair. It can provide greater flexibility, improved muscle tone, increased energy, and circulation, reduces stress, and improves mental clarity. For those who can’t get on a traditional mat, chair yoga can offer wonderful health benefits. Great for our seniors and wheelchair bound residents too.

Let’s Begin Lifestyle Yoga

As we transition into a new year with hopes of rebuilding connection and community, let’s return to our yoga mats with openness and curiosity. Using asana and mindfulness this class will take you back to the basics as we move and breathe our way toward progressively building strength and flexibility.  And if you suffer from tech neck and a stiff, achy back, a segment of this class will focus on ways to combat stress and lifestyle habits. You’ll learn and perform practical exercise routines with tips from the founder of the YoGeek Technique, Kathy Begin – an approved provider for the BCBSM Wellness Program.

Slow Flow Yoga

Combine breathing with flowing postures with this _ slow vinyasa style practice designed to bring balance. Kathy slows things down to relax the nervous system while incorporating strength building poses to make you stronger both mentally and physically. A perfect way to wind down after a long day.
