Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone– 3 hour class
Ages: 9+
$60 Discounted for residents,
$70 Regular Fee for non-residents
Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. Students also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information.
Topics Include:
- First aid
- When and how to call 911
- CPR with manikin practice
- Choking and more!
Things to Bring:
- Optional snack
Things to Know:
- Parents this class sometimes ends a little bit late, depending on when the course requirements are completed. For the safety of your child, drop off and pick up are conducted in the classroom.
- Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years).

Ages 9+
$80 Discounted for residents, $90 Regular fee for non-residents
Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. Students also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information.
Topics Include:
- First aid
- When and how to call 911
- CPR with manikin practice
- Choking
- Dealing with difficult behaviors
- Basic care methods like feeding and diapering
- Marketing and much more!

Things to Know:
- The 6 hour Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone class will end between 2 PM and 3 PM, depending on when the course requirements are completed.
- Please watch your cellphone for a message from your child between 12 PM and 1 PM to let you know when your child will be ready for pick up.
- If the Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone class ends early and you cannot pick up your child before 3 PM, it is okay. The instructor will stay with students until every child is picked up. For the safety of your child, drop off and pick up is conducted in the classroom.

Certified Pet Sitter/CPR/First Aid–Add on class
Ages 9+
$20 Discounted for residents, $30 Regular fee for non-residents
Kids, would you like to learn pet first aid and be a certified pet sitter? Increase your competitive edge by being more valuable to families with pets and kids. Increase your market by being certified to watch pets or kids. Learn to care for the pets in your own family. Have fun and help keep animals safe.

- Know what is normal for pet
- How to build a pet first aid kit
- Choking
- CPR
- First Aid
- Marketing
Things to Bring:
- Optional stuffed animal with realistic features
- Optional snack
Things to Know:
- The in-person Certified Pet Sitter/CPR/First Aid class is an optional 1 hour add on for students who participate in the in-person Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid on the same day.
- Students who participated in a previous Live Safe Academy Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid class (in-person or virtual) can become a certified pet sitter.
- To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities.
