SLPR Holiday Hours
Holiday Hours
The SLPR office will be closed beginning December 26th and will re-open January 3rd.
That being said – online registration is always open! Check out all the great offerings this season. Staying active is a great way to meet new people in the community. Engage your creative side at an art class, pump up your energy at a fitness class, twirl over for dance classes, tumble over for gymnastics classes, shoot some hoops at Sunday open gyms, kick the ball around at a soccer class, jump in the pool for swim lessons/lap swim or join an adult volleyball league (or, for the youth, an AAU volleyball league). Or, try a winter-themed sport such as ice-skating and hockey! So many options to stay active. We hope to see you join us for a class or league this season.
Questions? Please email us at contact_us@slpr.net or call us at 810.714.2011. Wishing everyone safe and Happy Holiday Season.

If someone wants to hurt our children, they will not choose a time or place with witnesses. That means no parents, no teachers, no policemen, just our children and the predator. The safety of our children will depend on their ability to recognize danger and respond appropriately. This fun, interactive and age-appropriate workshop teaches essential, lifesaving information about the dangers that our children face, strategies for prevention and real-world techniques designed to reduce their risk of abductions, assaults, and other forms of violence. But most of all, these programs teach students that they have the right to be safe, that no one has the right to hurt them, and that they are worth protecting. Keepers of the Shiawassee
A “grassroots” organization looking to promote, clean, and preserve the Shiawassee River.
We are a volunteer group that is beginning to develop the river as a paddling trail by organizing clean ups, installation of signage, and kayak/canoe launches. We have grown out of the efforts started by Headwaters Trails, Inc in Holly, MI. Our goal is to develop a 100 mile paddling trail from Holly to the Shiawassee Flats.
