Covid-19 Updates for SLPR Participants

Cover-19 Updates for SLPR Participants

The staff here at Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation has been working with the school districts, and heeding the advice of our local government and Governor.  As you know, things have changed quickly, often hour to hour. We would like to take this time to tell the community how much we appreciate the graciousness and kindness you have shown during these uncertain times.  We would also like to take this time to tell our staff and instructors how much we appreciate them.  Everyone worked quickly and adapted to this ever-changing situation with such impeccable grace.

There are many questions with regards to classes/activities/events and rentals.  At this time, we are going to continue with the original plan of the postponement of all activities/classses/rentals/events through April 5th.    Each program is unique, and will be handled accordingly with possible make-ups/additional dates as best we can.  Upcoming programs will be re-scheduled to the best of our availability as well.

Our offices are closed to the public, and we have our staff working remotely. Please allow 24 hours to return phone calls.  Please do feel free to contact us via email at contact_us@slpr.net if you have further questions.

Covid-19 updates continue to change.  We will continue to relay relevant information as it pertains to the safety of our community and the influence on our existing timeline of activities. Please stay tuned to our website and social media for updates, as well as emails from instructors and staff.

As always, our main concern is the safety of our participants, community, staff and families. Please be safe and we wish you good health,  always.
