SLPR is hiring for a Program Coordinator/Office Manager
SLPR is seeking a Program Coordinator/Office Manager:
Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation is taking applications for a full time Program Coordinator/Office Manager. The position is now open and will be accepting applications until March 31st or until filled.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION
Applicants should possess a successful background and working knowledge of recreation and event programming and development, with a successful background in office management. Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Suite, and knowledge of online registration and facility scheduling is required. Must understand budget development, be able to facilitate multiple initiatives, and have exceptional customer service and writing skills. Other qualifications include experience supervising event staff and managing instructors/coaches/coordinators. A background in building management/maintenance is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field preferred or successful on the job experience. References should be submitted with application.

Starting pay is $40,000 annually and is commensurate with experience. We are looking forward to a fabulous Market Season in Fenton! The Fenton Farmers Market opens Thursday, May 18th, 2023 and runs every Thursday until September 21st. Shoppers can shop Thursday evenings 5pm to 8pm on the front lawn of the Fenton Community & Cultural Center. (150 S Leroy St, Fenton MI 48430). Stop by Thursdays and shop your local Fenton Farmers Market!
Our Market vendors and our Market shoppers are some of the best! Out of safety of for our pet friends and the public, pets are not be allowed within the market space.
