SLPR is hiring for a Program Coordinator/Office Manager
SLPR is seeking a Program Coordinator/Office Manager:
Southern Lakes Parks & Recreation is taking applications for a full time Program Coordinator/Office Manager. The position is now open and will be accepting applications until March 31st or until filled. Â
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION
Applicants should possess a successful background and working knowledge of recreation and event programming and development, with a successful background in office management. Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Suite, and knowledge of online registration and facility scheduling is required. Must understand budget development, be able to facilitate multiple initiatives, and have exceptional customer service and writing skills. Other qualifications include experience supervising event staff and managing instructors/coaches/coordinators. A background in building management/maintenance is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field preferred or successful on the job experience. References should be submitted with application.

OTHER DUTIES
Some weekend and evening work required at special events, concerts, farmers’ markets, etc. Some light to moderate lifting required.
Starting pay is $40,000 annually and is commensurate with experience. Paid time off for vacation, personal and sick days plus a matching contribution to a Simple IRA and medical, dental and vision insurance is available. SLPR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
