Learn to Cook this Winter/Spring!

Nothing says comfort quite like food!  Learn to prepare a delicious dish – that will have your family thanking you later!  All cooking equipment and supplies are provided.  All you need to bring is a small container, if you wish to take home some of the prepared food after class. This class is a great way to learn to cook a delicious dish – and, a great way to meet new people in our community.  Register with a friend or your spouse and make a night out of it!  This class has limited spots available, so please register early to secure your spot.

The program will take place in the Fenton High School Wrestling room on Friday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.  Open to adults ages 18 and older.  Participants 13 and older are welcome with Sensei permission. 

Multiple sessions available at the start of each month, January through May.

SENIOR SPLASH

Make a splash and join us for a great time at the Fenton High School Pool! Work on strengthening those muscles in a low-impact format. 3 sessions available.

BALANCING EARTH ENTERTAINMENT PATRIOTIC SHOW

MORNING CHAIR YOGA

Chair Yoga for EVERY – BODY! No experience necessary.  This is a complete yoga class, performed from the comfort of a chair. Increase energy levels, improve muscle tone, and alleviate joint pain. Please wear comfortable clothing. 

Tuesdays: 11:15am to 12pm   Thursdays:  11am to 11:45am

Session 1: June 6 – July 18 (no classes July 4)

Session 2: July 25 – August 29

One day per week: $57 residents, $67 non-residents

Twice per week: $100 residents, $110 non-residents

SLPR’s popular Senior Fridays continues on all summer long!  Enjoy new friends and social time while playing euchre, bingo, bunco and MORE.  Lunch is served on the 4th Friday of the month for $4. Senior Fridays takes place at the Fenton Community & Cultural Center. Sponsored in part by the Genesee County Senior Millage Fund, CDBG, FCCC, and The State Bank.
