Michigan Trails Week with the LAFF Pathway

Michigan Trails Week with the LAFF Pathway

The Michigan Trails Week kicks off September 19th!
This is a perfect way to stay active and log those miles – all while supporting the LAFF Pathway!

The Michigan Trails Week Challenge is open to EVERYONE! All you have to do is log your miles spent on any local, county, state or federally managed trail. This is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the fantastic LAFF Pathway You can record all your miles at once or log individual treks. Every mile counts! There is no limit to the number of badges you can earn. The more mileage you log, the more badges you earn, and that boosts your chances to win and helps us reach our 100,000-mile goal. For every badge earned, you will be entered in a drawing for cool outdoor gear and Michigan branded prizes!

When registering, please look for the LAFF PATHWAY link to donate and show your support for our local trail.

LAFF Pathway on Linden Schools Campus

LAFF Pathway Update at Linden Schools Campus

August 31st, 2021
The following information is from Linden Schools about the temporary relocation of the pathway through campus during construction of their multi-purpose center:

We’re about (1) week away from the start of construction on the new Multi Purpose Center.  Starting on Tuesday, September 7th, we’ll begin the installation of fencing around the perimeter of the construction site, unfortunately this fencing will impede access through a section of the pathway that runs along the West side of the stadium.  In order to maintain a safe route for walkers and bikers, we’ll be opening the gates on the South end of the stadium, these gates will need to remain open for the duration of construction. We will have barricades and signage to help direct people to the re-routed section.

Cider Cycle 2021

Cider Cycle 2021

Peabody Ice Challenge and LAFF Pathways are teaming up again this fall to bring you a ride that will be fun for all!

Families are welcome and funds raised from this event are going to help build a non-motorized pathway connecting Fenton and surrounding areas. This project has been in the works for years and had an official ground breaking in 2020 with one section completed. The State Bank made a generous contribution in 2021 to continue progress and funds from this ride will help the progress.

Check out more details about the pathway here: LAFF Pathways
