Pilates is mindful movement. This class progresses you through the exercises using props including the foam roller, resistance band, fitness circle, balls, barres, and hand weights. Chair Yoga is for everybody. No need to be fit, flexible, or have prior yoga experience. This is an introductory level course and performed sitting in a chair. For those who can’t get on the traditional mat, chair yoga can offer wonderful health benefits. It provides greater flexibility, improved muscle tone, increased energy, and help alleviate joint pain from arthritis. It also reduces stress and improves mental clarity. This class is perfect for our wheelchair bound participants of all ages and excellent for our seniors too.

The primary benefit of exercising with the stability ball is core strength by focusing on the abdominal and back muscles. Using the rehabilitative principals of Pilates, this class is gentle on the joints and designed to challenge the whole body. This engaging and playful yoga class is designed especially for elementary aged-children! They will learn yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and give children the tools to manage stress. Music and games will be incorporated. Our goal is for your child to feel calm, centered and mindful at the end of each class.
