Intro to Watercolor

Students will develop a basic understanding of watercolor painting in this two week class. They will become familiar with watercolor tools, tones and color-mixing, different brushes and brush strokes, and a wide variety of watercolor techniques. The instructor will provide supplies. This program is meant for those who have little to no experience and are looking to get started with this beautiful medium!

Watercolor–Eat It, Paint It!

Painting supplies & snacks will be provided for this fun night of culinary creativity! You will be supplied a line art illustration created by the instructor, Danielle Golinski (which means no drawing skills necessary!) featuring seasonal vegetables to paint in watercolor. Watercolor tips and techniques will be shared and everyone will bring home a completed, colorful work of art.

No previous painting experience needed!

Kids Drawing Skills

Take your drawing to the next level by truly understanding graphite and how to use it to create values and textures. This one-hour class is packed full of information. Experiment with pencils and tools during class. You will leave class with some new drawing skills.

Kid’s Holiday Ornament Canvas

Children 7 and up will learn to paint beautiful ornaments that will last forever. Instructor Donna Roskamp will walk you through the steps as you complete the project during class. The instructor provides all supplies. Parents and adults may join this class too!

Kids Acrylic Daisy

Learn to paint a beautiful Daisy in acrylics on an 8 x 10 canvas. No previous painting experience required. The project is taught step by step as it is completed in class. Children under the age of 7 may attend if a parent stays with them. All materials are provided for the $5.00 supply fee payable to the instructor.

Kids Learn to Draw Animals

Children love penguins, seals, and furry creatures. This class will teach them to draw their favorite animals by observing and using foundation shapes.

Children under 8 may attend with an adult.

Award Winning, Certified Instructor Donna Roskamp teaches the class step by step for easy learning. The instructor provides all supplies. The children will take home supplies so they can continue to practice what they have learned. A material fee of $5 is payable to the instructor. Ages 8 and up (children under 8 may attend with an adult)

Learn to Draw Your Pet

$50 resident / $60 non-resident

$5 supply fee payable to the instructor at the class

Learn to draw your own pet in this two-session class. If you don’t have a pet, bring in a photo of any animal you choose. Students will need to bring an 8×10 clear, close up photo to class. If you have trouble choosing, email me a couple pictures and I will help (justa_vessel@yahoo.com). Supplies will be provided in class.

There is a $5.00 material fee payable to the instructor.
