Welcome to the 17th Fall Dance Season at SLPR

We are so excited to be celebrating our 17th Season of Dance! We are really looking forward to seeing dancers moving and grooving!

We are excited to be working with a few options as we move forward into the fall season of dance. Right now, we will be holding classes outside on the back patio when the weather allows.  Fresh air is good for the soul – and, with the colder weather heading our way, we are happy to take advantage of any nice-weather days while they are here.  If the weather is not conducive to dancing, we will be moving our classes indoors to the Fenton Community & Cultural Center Rec Room. Students who prefer not to dance in person inside will also have the option to join us over Zoom.  Classes may also switch to a virtual platform as needed due to  Covid related issues.

Big announcement – the SLPR Dance program has a brand new studio! New mirrors, new floors, new location and bigger studio space, with access to an enclosed outdoor dancing area as well.   We are putting the finishing touches on the space, and hope to be able to be in the new space mid to late October.  We will be adding additional dates and times for classes once we have the green-light on the studio completion.   We can’t wait to see dancers creating and moving in this new space.

The SLPR Dance program is committed to working with our dance families to help keep our dancers safe. We’ve reduced class sizes, and are following protocols to help ensure the safest possible environment.

Please bring either a thin yoga mat or beach towel to class, for floor work and stretches.  Please bring a labeled water bottle, as we do not have our drinking fountains in use. So thankful dancers are flexible and can adapt with the changing times, so that we are able to dance, have fun, make friends, and create many memories together. We are so ready to twirl together again!

Questions about the dance program? Please call Kristen at 810.714.2011 or email karchambeau@slpr.net.
